What is research like for Jarvis’ science fiction?
I recently shared interactions I had with my AI chat back in my newsletter. That inspired me to also collect search queries I have posed to google lately. What follows is a selection of inquiries and topics explored in June of 2024 while writing my now-drafted, soon-to-the-editor, untitled work going by the name Sackerson.
Below, I’ll expound and explain some…

If you’re reviewing this list and asking how these items could POSSIBLY weave together, then you’re my new prime reader! Just the curiosity alone should compel you to seek out Sackerson when it’s available.
I can tell you that 15 or so chapters are set in a horrible desert, which might explain away a few of these. It’s the most fanciful novel I’ve drafted yet, so some searches like “masons and time travel” aren’t so hard to understand, right?
